That's also your choice. OrderStream™ provides both online and offline ordering facilities. You can use only the features that make sense to your business.
- What software do I need to install on my smartphone?
If you are using the web application then you only need the javascript enabled browser that comes with your phone. If you are using the handheld offline application on a Palm or Android device then the OrderStream application needs to be loaded on your phone.
- What if I only need some of the OrderStreamIMS?
You can choose any combination of IMS modules.
- Do I need an integrated scanner to use OrderStreamIMS?
Although a ruggedized device with an integrated scanner is optimal for warehouse use, the android modules all have a touch interface that
allows quick entry of item numbers, locations and quantities. With a free third party android app you can also use the camera as a scanner.
